Development of Corrosion-resistant Wrapping Materials of Modified Asphalt

防腐蚀热缠带是用改性石油沥青与玻璃纤维增强材料复合而成的一种管道外防腐蚀新材料，通过在城市燃气管线、自来水管线以及原油长输管线上的应用，已初步形成了能够适应不同输送条件、不同施工环境要求的系列产品。文章详细介绍了防腐蚀热缠带系列产品研制的过程，包括基本材料的选定、改性沥青配方的筛选、系列产品的主要性能及其作用范围等。

Corrosion-resistant heat wrapping material is a new material manufactured from modified petroleum asphalt and glass fiber reinforced material for external corrosion protection of the pipelines. It has been used on the town gas pipelines, running water pipelines and long-distance oil pipelines. A series of products have been developed which could meet the requirements of different operating and construction conditions. The development of series products, including selection of base materials, screening of modified asphalt formulation, the major performances and scope of application etc were described in detail.
