This paper analyzes common defects and causes of bridge foundation, abutment, covering plate prefabrication, and installation, de- scribes common defects in aliform and bottom bridge paving and abutment backfilling, with a view to fundamentally avoid such problems in bridge construction and to improve bridge construction quality.
