杂交马褂木的新名称——亚美马褂木

A new scientific name of hybrid Liriodendron—L. sino-americanum

长期以来杂交马褂木一直缺乏一个有效的双名名称,常用冗长的杂交公式来表达,即Lirio-dendron chinense(Hemsl.)Sarg.×L.tulipifera L.。在科技报告或文献中常常将该杂交种附属在马褂木之后,没有把它作为一个种的等级来处理,实际上该杂交种是一个独立的物种,有其独特的形态学和生物学特性,已在中国广泛地栽培和应用。根据《国际植物命名法规》对杂种名称的命名规则,笔者对该杂交种的名称进行了新的订正,其新名称应为亚美马褂木(Liriodendron sino-americanum P.C.Yieh ex Shang et Z.R.Wang)。

Liriodendron hybrid has been the lack of a valid binomial name for a long time,commonly the hybrid was used a hybrid formula of expression,namely Liriodendron chinense（Hemsl.） Sarg.×L.tulipifera L..In general scientific report or document,the hybrid is often a L.chinense subsidiary,never regarded as a level of species.The hybrid is a separate species,has its distinct morphological and biological characteristics,has been widely cultivated and used in China.According to the ＂International Code of Botanical Nomenclature＂ on hybrid name naming rules,the name of hybrid is newly revised.Now the new name is Liriodendron sino-americanum P.C.Yieh ex Shang et Z.R.Wang.
