Local Multipoint Distribution Service is a kind of microwave broadband services. It can support various services including voice, data and imsge. LMDS's advantages include fast engineering completion, small proportion investment at early stage, strong anaphase scalability, fast recoupment, construction on user's requirements and low network operation and maintenance expense. LMDS network is composed Of backbone network,network operation center, service area base -station system and service area user equipment. P-COM's LMDS system is introduced in detail in this paper.
