摘要
近代学制的确立和新式学堂的兴办,使贵州教育开始踏上现代化的历程,但现代性质的教育仍然凭借了传统教育的基础,表现出对传统教育的调适与转化。到20世纪20年代,经过二十余年的发展,贵州教育在社团、士绅、新兴知识份子的努力和推动下,不断对传统教育进行改造调适,初步建立起了国民通识教育体系,并逐渐完成向现代教育的转化。
The establishment of the modem school system and new schools set Guizhou education on the course of modernization. Nevertheless, the modem education still relied on the traditional education, showing its adjustment and transformation of traditional education. To the 1920s, after more than 20 years development, Guizhou education constantly adapted and transformed itself, and initially set up the na- tional system of general education, with the efforts and promotion of the mass organization, gentry and emerging intellectual. Guizhou gradually completed the transition from traditional education to modem education.
