摘要
目的 检测膀胱移行细胞癌中血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)表达和肿瘤微血管计数 (MVC) ,以探讨其相互关系及临床意义。方法 采用免疫组织化学方法检测 5 3例原发性膀胱移行细胞癌和 8例非癌膀胱手术标本VEGF表达 ,并对肿瘤微血管进行计数。结果 5 3例膀胱移行细胞癌标本中VEGF的阳性表达率为 5 4 .7% ,对照组 8例膀胱粘膜均为阴性 ;低分化和浸润性癌组VEGF阳性表达率及MVC显著高于高分化和表浅性癌组 (P <0 .0 5 ) ;VEGF表达阳性者MVC显著高于VEGF表达阴性者 (P <0 .0 1)。结论 VEGF表达和MVC与膀胱移行细胞癌恶性程度有关 ,检测膀胱移行细胞癌VEGF表达水平及MVC ,可能成为预测膀胱癌生物学行为的预后指标。
Objective To investigate the correlation between the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and microvessel count (MVC) and their clinical significance in transitional cell carcinoma of bladder.Methods Expression of VEGF and MVC were detected by immunohistochemical method (S-P method)in 53 specimens of transitional cell carcinoma of bladder and in 8 normal bladder mucosa as control.Results VEGF was positive in 29 specimens(54.7%)while was negative in all controls.The positive rate of VEGF expressions in poorly differentiated and invasive bladder tumors was significantly higher than that of well differentiated and superficial tumors (P<0.05).The microvessel count (MVC) in tumors with positive VEGF expression was significantly higher than that in tumors with negative(P<0.01).Conclusion The results suggested that the expression of VEGF has important influence on the biological behavior of bladder carcinoma.Combined analysis of VEGF and p53 expression might be useful for predicting the prognosis of bladder carcinoma.
