非英语专业本科学生英语难词记忆法研究

摘要 难词在英语词汇中占有一定的比例,学生在记忆难词方面难度较大,但目前在国内外对词汇记忆的研究中针对较难词汇的部分成果并不多见。本文则以非英语专业本科学生为研究对象,运用教育统计学手段,对本科学生在记忆难词过程中所选方法进行调查研究,并作定量分析。统计结果表明,非英语专业学生最常用且有效的难词记忆方法有上下文法、熟词联想法、选择性注意法等。在英语教学中,教师如根据学生的实际情况传授恰当的记忆方法,帮助其容易且牢固地记住一些难词,无疑会促进英语学习。 Difficult words making up a large proportion in English vocabularies have been a big problem for students. However, there are not many researches and explorations on the mnemonics for those difficult ones recently. This paper is to have an investigation and analysis of the approaches the non- English majors tend to choose when memorizing them by education statistics. The resuh indicates that such methods according to context, association, concentration and so on are preferred. Therefore, during teaching it is appropriate for teachers to introduce some proper mnemonics contributing to learning difficult words for students.
