Exploration and Analysis on Teaching Method of Specialized English of Bioengineering in Application-oriented Institutes

应用型本科院校以服务地方经济和社会发展为重要职能,以培养应用型人才为主要目标。在生物工程专业英语课程教学过程中,教师要根据生物工程专业英语词汇的特点讲解构词法,引导学生利用多种记忆方法学习专业词汇,采取以课文讲解和课下阅读相结合的方式进行教学,既能达到教学大纲要求又能提高学生的阅读能力。

The application-oriented institutes have an important function to serve the local economical and social development,and an objective to train applied talents.In order to improve the teaching quality,this paper explores the teaching model of the specialized English of bioengineering course.Firstly,the teaching objective can be made into different levels according to the English levels of students.The course can be taught purposively,and the teaching objective can be adjusted and achieved by students of different levels.Secondly,the vocabulary teaching should be taken to guide students to learn in different methods,while both text explanation and reading materials should be taken in text learning.Lastly,the interaction mode should be taken in the teaching process to play the enthusiasm of both teachers and students and improve the comprehensive ability of students.
