摘要 高职教育的发展给公共英语教师提出了更高的要求,只有纯粹的英语语言教学的教师已经不能适应高职英语教学的要求,教师的专业拓展成为了值得关注的课题。本文通过对本校及其他部分高职院校公共英语教师专业拓展现状进行访谈,发现高职高专公共英语教师专业能力拓展缺失给各专业人才英语能力的培养带来了很多不利的影响,并探索公共英语教师专业拓展与各专业人才培养模式对接的有效途径。 The development of higher vocational education makes higher demands on the college English teachers.The teachers who only have the pure English language teaching are unable to meet the requirements of higher vocational English teaching,so the teachers' professional development has become a topic of concern.Through the interviews with the college English teachers in our college and part of other higher vocational colleges about the current status of their professional development,it is found that the teachers' lacking professional development brings a lot of adverse effects on the cultivation of the students' English language ability for different professionals.This paper explores the effective ways of linking the professional development of college English teachers with professional training modes.
