我国上市商业银行治理结构、市场竞争与经营绩效的实证检验

Empirical Study of Governance Structure,Market Competition and Performance of Chinese Listed Commercial Banks

本文以14家上市银行的数据为样本进行实证分析,结果表明:银行的公司治理与市场竞争对于提升银行经营绩效具有彼此加强的作用,银行的市场竞争与公司治理在影响经营绩效中具有显著的交互作用。因此,关注银行市场竞争与公司治理结构的作用,有助于进一步改善银行经营绩效、提升银行的竞争力。

This paper takes a sample of 14 listed bank＇s data to explain whether the market competition can substitute mutually with governance structure in improving business performance.Results show that integration of corporate governance and market competition can promote business performance of commercial banks.There is no absolute dominant factor and either can be substituted.Corporate governance and market competition have remarkable correlation in influencing business performance of commercial banks.Therefore,focusing on both market competition and corporate governance structure in banking reform,is useful to further improve business performance of commercial banks,and ultimately promotes the competitiveness.
