做好社区工作是基层公安机关最基本的任务之一。近年来,随着外来人口不断流入城市郊区并形成聚居趋势,社会各界逐渐增加了对外来人口聚居区的关注度,使得与此相关的社区工作得到了各级政府部门与领导的高度重视。公安机关要在实践中不断提高对外来人口聚居区的管理能力,切实履行维护城市安全与稳定的重要职责。

Community work is one of basic tasks for the public security organs.In recent years,with the population from other provinces pouring into urban suburbs,they tend to dwell in a concentrated way.Different sectors of society have paid more and more attention to the concentration areas,which enables administrators at different levels to attach importance to the related community work.The public security organs should improve their ability to administer such areas so as to implement their crucial duty of maintaining city safety and stability.
