Kafka and Hesse,the two famous representative writers in the 20th century German literature,they have experienced unique spiritual exploration on the road to artistic achievement.This paper aims to analyze the spiritual pilgrimage journey from the perspective of the theme of body and soul,the spirit of Don Quixote-style theme,utopian themes and maze theme.
