思想政治理论课实践教学有其特定的内涵，特指校外的实践。高职院校思想政治理论课实践教学存在的主要问题是课时保证难，经费落实难，远未”全员”。将思想政治理论课实践教学向假期延伸，和将思想政治理论课实践教学与专业实习、顶岗实习相结合，既不增加课时，又不增加经费，而又覆盖了全体学生，是高职院校思想政治理论课实践教学的新思路。
