摘要
一、引言 LiGaW_2O_8晶体属单斜晶系,空间群P2/C,晶胞参数:a=9.30(?),b=5.65(?),c=4.89(?),β=90.3°,Z=2。根据利用高价阳离子(例如W^(6+),Nb^(5+)等)对O^(2-)的极化效应,使O^(2-)在掺入的Cr^(8+)处产生弱晶格场,而使Cr^(8+)的~4T_2能级与~2E能级靠近的设想。
The growth of Cr^(2+):LiGaW_2O_8 crystal by the flux method is studied in the paper,and the growth temperature curve for LiGaW_2O_8-Li_2B_2O_4 system has been determined by DTA. The size of crystals is 6×11×35mm.The peak wavelength of ~4T_2^(-4)A_2 transition vibronic spectrum and the fluorescence life time for Cr^(3+):LiGaW_2O_8 crystals have been determined to be 9400(?) and 5μs respectivily.Cr^(3+):LiGaW_2O_8 crystals may be used as tunable phonon terminal infrared laser crystals.
