近日，普利司通集团宣布，公司正在积极寻找全新的天然橡胶资源，以替代目前在轮胎主要原料中占很大比例、产自橡胶树的天然橡胶。作为方向之一，普利司通美国轮胎公司已经在美国西南部展开对“银胶菊”的研发工作。
In recent days, the Bridgestone Group has announced, that the Corporation is actively searching for the grand new natural rubber source of 'Guayule', so as to substitute for the main original material in tires which occupied very large proportion, the natural rubber produced from rubber plants. As one of the directions, the Bridgestone Tires Corporation of America has already deployed R & D works on 'Guayule' in the southwestern region of America.
