The syntheses of public cultural building is familiar in the development of the city in china today. Because of the complicated functional requirements and landmark of overall image, the design of this kind of building is becoming more and more important. By introducing the design project of city gallery and museum in Wuhu, this paper discusses design idea of cultural building in certain urban context and topics.
