Succession in Sustainable Development:Analysis on the Expansion of Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Henan Puyang

该文是从场地、功能、标志这三个方面出发,分析在医院改扩建中如何将基地原有的场所精神传承,并在持续发展的思路下重塑医院的新形象。在原有的院区布局基础上重新建立起清晰而富有弹性的功能关系,与该特定的环境相适应。设计中强调对建筑环境的实际体验;强调与业主的互动。同时,强调医疗功能的重组,从而使新旧建筑群形成有机整体的功能体系;强调可持续发展,充分理解和利用原有建筑,让原有建筑空间布局得以在新建建筑群中的延续。

From the three aspects such as site, function and symbol, we analyze the expansion of the hospital based on the original place spirit succession, and rebuilding the new image of the hospital in sustainable development. Base on the original hospital layout , we want to establish a clear and resilient function relationship which adapts to the specific environment. We emphasize on practical experience of architecture environment and the interaction with the owners. The reorganization of medical functional is also important, so that new and old buildings could form organic whole function system. At the same time, we stress that sustainable development such as understanding and making use of the existing building could succeed in the new buildings.
