摘要
美国女作家詹妮弗·伊恩的新作《恶棍来访》一举夺得2011年度普利策文学大奖。小说结构独特、构思巧妙,深刻地剖析了时间作用下人类痛苦与无奈的主题,展现了作者对"时间"和"人生"的多重思考。小说对传统叙事手法的颠覆以及对"时间"主题的全新阐述成为其获奖的重要原因,同时也使得作家伊恩跻身于当代美国文坛一流作家之列。
Jennifer Egan,an American author,won the 2011 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction by her latest fiction A Visit from the Goon Squad.The novel,noted for the ingenuity of narrating structure and originality of plot,analyzes the theme of pain and loss in the passage of time,shows Egan＇s great concerns of ＂time＂ and ＂life＂.The subversion of original narrating structure and a brand-new interpretation of time make the novel a great success as well as Egan＇s first-class status among contemporary American writers.
