Market Economy,Moral Crisis and Sustainability of the Moral

经济和社会互相嵌入,社会主义市场经济的可持续发展依赖于社会的稳定和和谐。然而日益严重的道德危机折射社会的不稳定因素增加,当前的经济增长方式已难以为继。道德危机产生的原因不在于市场经济固有的自利和金钱崇拜特点,也不在于我国传统文化和道德与市场经济之间的矛盾。道德的生成依赖于平等条件下的角色互换,道德的发展和演变则是社会个体自下而上的、渐进的、自觉的,与正式性制度不断互补的以适应社会环境变化的过程。我国经济增长模式中过分的政府干预、社会不平等、特权阶层的存在以及狭隘的发展观破坏了道德的正常发展路径,必须在经济体制改革边际效益递减的情况下将重点逐渐向社会体制改革转变,以取得经济和社会的协调发展。

Economy is embedded in society,and the sustainable development of socialist market economy depends on social harmony and stability.But the serious moral crisis reflects the increase in social instability.The current road of economic growth has been difficult to sustain. The moral crisis is not caused by the self-interest and money worship which is not inherent feature of market economy,and it is not caused by the contradiction between market economy and traditional cultural of China.The generation of morality depends on the role transposition under conditions of equality,and the development and evolution of the moral is a bottom-up,incremental,self-conscious process by the individual during which it adapts to the constantly changing of social environment.The excessive government intervention,the social inequality,the existence of the privileged class and the narrow concept of development in China＇s economic growth model prevent the normal development of morality.So we must change the focus to social reform in the case of diminishing marginal utility of economic reform in order to achieve coordinated development of the economic and society.
