围绕隐喻的判断和解释——基于认知隐喻和二语习得的相关研究

On the Identification and Interpretation of Metaphors within the Framework of Cognitive Metaphor and Second Language Acquisition

认知隐喻的理论研究成果相当丰富,而实验研究却相对稚嫩许多。围绕着认知隐喻的判断和解释,本研究指出二语隐喻能力实证研究中存在的问题,提出为了达到实验的科学性及准确性,必须重审实验对象的文化背景、认知水平、学习阶段等等因素,来针对性地选择隐喻程度性判断的标准,对以往的二分标准加以抨击。在此基础上,文章还提出,二语隐喻能力训练也应该根据上述因素,确定在训练方式、语言形式、文化阐释等方面连续体上的相应节点。

Based on a brief review of the empirical studies on metaphorical competence,this paper analyzes a few problems with metaphorical identification and interpretation.To guarantee the reliability and validity of empirical research,the paper advocates that due criterion should be built based on such factors as cultural background,cognitive styles,and learners' language proficiency.Meanwhile,training targeted at improving learners' metaphorical competence should be designed in accordance with the right positions of the methodological continuums,language forms,and cultural exposition.
