雕塑时代——新中国城市雕塑回顾与展望

The age of sculpture,the review and outlook of the new city sculpture in China

现代城市雕塑作为一种公共艺术,是政府决策、人民意愿以及艺术家的个体精神的综合体现,具有强烈的时代感。它是艺术家在既定的题材、特定的空间以及相应的物质条件下的艺术智慧与创造精神的结晶,具有为其它艺术形式所无法取代的独特的价值与广泛的影响力。本文从宏观视野入手,系统而客观地回顾和分析了新中国建立以来城市雕塑所取得的成就,并尝试对未来城市雕塑的发展与构建提出具有操作性的策略与建议。

The modern sculpture, as a public art and with a strong sense of the time, is the comprehensive representative of policy making,people＇s will and the individual spirits of artists themselves.It is the combination of art wits and creative spirits of the artists with a certain theme space and material condition, and of unique value and extensive influence which can not be replaced by other forms of arts.In this article, the achievements of city art attained since the the foundation of New China have been reviewed and analyzed in a systematic and objective way in a macro-scope view, and practical strategies and suggestions are attempted to raise on the future development and establishment of the city sculpture.
