The note of Yixing ZiHu, written by Ming loyalist, ZhouRong, is recorded in the book of The famous Potteries in Yang Xian,written by WuQian of the Qing dynasty. The book has described the tools for making and molding techniques of purple sands, which is the valuable literature on the early development of purple sands in Yi Xing. Base on the note of YiXing ZiHu, we focus on the discussion and analysis of the evolvement and significance in the tool design and applicative theory of the purple sands.
