Faced with the rapid development of the Intemet and the popularity of multimedia applications, a new generation of Web standards HTML5 came into being and is accelerating the development and perfection. Through analysis of the evolution process of the Web technology, this paper mainly discusses the new generation of Web technology developments and the applications based HTML5.
