以哲学应用研究为对象的马克思主义应用哲学 ,是哲学研究与发展的新领域 ,有广阔的发展前景。其重大使命是 :要以马克思主义哲学为指导 ,对现实重大实践课题作哲学反思 ;要把哲学与部门科学相结合 ,建立部门哲学新学科 ;要从根本上提高人的思维素质和创新能力 ;要通过对哲学应用的理论与方法研究 ,推进整个哲学体系的改造与发展。应用哲学研究的基本途径是 :要建立哲学与非哲学的广泛联盟 ;要对庞大的职业哲学家队伍进行改造 ;要积极进行哲学教育改革 ,培养哲学新人 。

Prospects for the broad development exist for Maxist applied philosophy, which aims at the research on philosophical application, i.e. a new domain of philosophical research and development. The major mission includes the re thinking philosophically of realistic major practical problems under the guidance of Maxist philosophy; the combination of philosophy with various branch sciences to set up new subject of various branch philosophy; fundamentally heightening man's thinking quality and the ability to blaze new trails; and the promotion of the transformation and development of the entire philosophy system through the research on the theory and method of philosophical application. The fundamental ways of the research on applied philosophy are:it is imperative to conclude broad alliance between philosophy and non-philosophy; it is imperative to remould massive ranks of professional philosophers; and it is imperative to actively reform philosophy education, to bring up new philosophers and greatly heighten man's quality in thinking
