蔡国始封及其始封年代考──兼论武王克商的年代

On the First Enfeoffment of Cai State and Its Enfeoffed Year──While referring to the Year of Shang Dynasty being conquered by the king Wuwang in Zhou dynasty

蔡国是有周一代重要的封国，由于史料阙佚，史学界对其始封问题历来歧见迭出，莫衷一是。通过对武王封蔡传统说法进行辨证，认为蔡国是周公始封而非武王始封，时间在周公摄政期间。在对武王克商具体年代考证的基础上提出蔡国始封的具体时间是在公元前１１０４年。

Cai state(蔡国) was an important state during Zhou Dynasty. For a long time no unanimous conclusion can be drawn on the first enfeoffment of Cai state. By analyzing the traditional idea of Cai state being firstly enfeoffed by the king Wuwang(武王),this paper gives a statement that Cai state was firstly enfeoffed not by the king Wuwang but by Zhougong(周公). As a result of textual on the year of Shang Dynasty being conquered by the king Wuwang,it concludes that Cai state's first enfeoffment was in 1104. B. C.
