Examples of Special Use of Common Function Words in Classical Chinese Language

文言虚词不少是从实词演变来的,同一符号,常常既可作实词,又可作虚词。在古汉语词语运用中,其虽数量不算多,但也占一定的比例,且用法也相当复杂,其中除了一些常规用法外,还有不少特殊的非常规用法,值得我们仔细探讨。

Many classical function words evolved from notional words.The same symbol often can be notional word as well as function word.In the use of classical Chinese words,although the amount of function words are not large,there is a certain proportion,the usage of which is quite complex.In addition to some general uses,there are a lot of unconventional uses which are worth discussing.
