摘要
近年来,在中国哲学界出现了"中国哲学"是否合法的疑问,此问题的背后可能缘于依什么样的思考框架来治中国思想作为历史的学问的问题。治中国传统思想、文化、学术作为历史的学问,学术界有多种做法,如思想史、文化史、学术史、哲学史等。本文以钱穆与冯友兰在这个问题上的见解及其择取根据为例,以期窥探近代以来中国学术的因缘、问题、轴心、轨迹。钱穆不主张以分科之学特别是"哲学"来梳理中国传统的思想文化精神作为历史的学问;而冯友兰则是以西方"哲学"的框架来重新清理中国传统思想学术的重要代表,其所著之"三史"、"六书",就是以"哲学"史的框架叙述传统,以"新理学"的框架开新。在对钱、冯二位先生的学术乃至哲学观的比较中,我们似乎可以体会到近代以来中国思想学术生长发展的问题与特点。
