吃新节是贵州省黔东南地区苗族社区十分隆重的节日,以苗族传统的吃新节为探讨对象,通过对吃新节节日时间、节日涉及的空间范围以及节日内容等进行剖析和论证,希望在此还原出苗族传统的时空定位机制以及传统的历法。以便更好的把握苗族的本土生态知识,准确的认识苗族的生态观和生态行为。从而更好的切入对该民族生态知识和生态行为的研究。

Tasting-new-rice Festival is a grand festival for the Miao in Qiandongnan Prefecture of Guizhou Province. With the festival as the research object, the study is to make an analysis of its time, spatial range involved and activities, leading to the restoration of the traditional spatio-temporal positioning mechanism and the traditional calendar of the Miao so as to better understand and research their local ecological knowledge, views and behaviors.
