She regards the pathogenesis of acne as the dysfunction of qi in the organs of lung, spleen, stomach, liver and kidney. Hence, it is important to make a syndrome differentiation on qi-blood, cold-heat, and deficiency-excess from the perspective of the concept of holism, and then govern the patients＇ constitution, correct the balance of yin and yang in the body, promote the circulation of qi and blood in skin, so as to cure the acne.
