目前的高职大学英语教学模式已不能满足当今社会发展对培养"专业+英语"复合型人才的需要。在分析当前高职大学英语教学存在问题的基础上,指出专业英语教学与大学基础英语教学融合的必要性,并从教材、教学模式、师资、测试制度等方面提出了改革措施。

The present higher vocational college teaching mode can＇t meet the requirement of the cultivation of the compound talents（Major plus English） with the social development.The article points out the necessity of combination of basic English and professional English based on the analysis of the problems which arise in the present higher vocational college English teaching and puts forward some reform measures such as teaching materials,teaching model,teachers and the testing system,etc.
