抗菌药物是治疗感染性疾病的特效药物 ,其疗效取决于对感染性疾病的正确诊断及对致病微生物敏感的抗菌药物的选择。回顾性综述抗菌药物应用的基本原则、治疗性应用、预防性应用以及联合抗菌治疗的问题 ,提出在许多严重病例中 ,在病原学尚未获结果前。

Antimicrobial agents are specific in the treatment of the infectious disease. Their effects are dependent on the accuracy of diagnosis for infectious disease and proper choice of the antimicrobial agents for the causative microorganism. The essential principles of antimicrobial agents application, used for treatment, used for prophylaxis, and combined antimicrobial therapy are reviewed. The empirical treatment with the broad spectrum antimicrobials is appropriate in many of severe infectious diseases before the laboratorial report obtained.
