大学新使命:文化传承与创新——“第二届创新中国论坛”综述

New Missions of Universities:Cultural Inheritance and Innovation——A Summary of the Second China's Innovation Forum

作为一种文化组织,大学与文化相生相融、相得益彰,文化传承与创新是大学与生俱来的职责。以2011年胡锦涛主席在清华大学建校100周年大会上的讲话和十七届六中全会为契机,整个社会对文化建设以及大学在文化建设中的责任和使命的关注迅速升温。在第二届创新中国论坛上,与会的专家学者围绕当代大学的新使命、文化传承与创新,以及当代大学实践新使命的内涵与要求、困惑与阻力、方向与路径等问题进行了深入的研讨。

As a cultural institution,universities and culture mutually promote and complement each other,cultural inheritance and innovation become the inherent commitments of universities.President HU Jin-tao＇s speech on the 100th anniversary of Qinghua University and the Sixth Plenum of the 17th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China served as timely opportunity,which heatedly raised the whole society＇s conern in cultural construction and the responsibilities and missions of universities in cultural construction.At the Second China＇s Innovation Forum,experts and scholars present held in-depth discussions with regards to new missions of modern universities,cultural inheritance and innovation,the relevant issues covering their respective connotations and requirements,bewilderments and obstacles,directions and paths,among many others.
