Hills like White Elephants,a short story by the famous American writer Ernest Hemingway, shows a strong love for nature and a deep concern for women's fate.Taking an ecofeminist perspective, this paper analyses Hemingway's criticism of anthropocentrism and patriarchy, and his hope for reconstructing a new world, where human beings and nature exist interdependently and reciprocally, and at the same time men and women live equally and harmoniously.
