Merging and Splitting——On the transitional characteristics of wu janren's Chinese detective case

晚清时期正是中西方文化激烈撞击与整合的活跃时期,这一对话过程对文学的影响尤为明显。就侦探小说而言,从翻译介绍到本土作家开始创作本国的侦探小说经历了一个融合的过程。吴趼人创作的《中国侦探案》虽不成熟,融合之中又有分裂的特质,但这又恰恰反映了中国文学从近代向现代过渡的特征。因此,对《中国侦探案》的研究也就有助于认识侦探小说如何在中西融合中找到一条民族化和现代化之路,对于研究近现代中国文学的转型有重要意义。

The late Qing Dynasty is the most active and fierce time to collision and merging for western and Oriental culture,this process made an obvious impact on Chinese literature.On the terms of detective story,it experienced a merging process which begun from translation and introduction to creation by the native writers.The Chinese detective case,writted by Wu,though is not mature and mixed with splitting and merging characteristics.It represents the transition feature of Chinese literature from modern times.to contemporary age.Therefore,researching the Chinese detective case could help us get the answer how Chinese dective story find the most right national and modern way among the spiltting and merging age,which will make a great importance for studying the transition of Chinese literature.
