作为政治文学的工农兵文学,其30余年的发展历程,可以分为初创时期、发展时期和极端化时期等三个阶段。初创时期是突出政策意识,描写人物,表现阶级;发展时期是突出历史意识,塑造典型,表现英雄;极端化时期是宣讲政治,描写类型,表现神魔。政治文学不是不能存在,但不能作为简单的政治斗争武器而存在;文学不是不能表现政治,但不能只是表现政治,而要走向文化。
