Reversed Plus-minus Parameter——Interpreting Pasquinade under Image Schema Theory

意象图式是人类不断重复的涉身经验的模式化和抽象化,能够用来组织抽象概念。分析文学作品中的意象图式有助于发现作家和作品的深层次特点。讽刺诗歌中的意象图式有一个鲜明特点,即意象图式的价值参数表现为正负颠倒。意向图式的正负参数与涉身经验相一致,说明讽刺诗歌通过违反人的涉身经验来取得讽刺效果。

An Image schema is an abstract pattern of our recurring embodied experience. The analysis of image schemas in literary works reveals the underlying characteristics of the works and authors. A distinc- tive feature of pasquinades is that its plus-minus parameters are reversed. The axiological parameters of image schemas are consistent with embodied experience. Therefore, it shows that the ironic effects in pas- quinades are achieved through the violation of embodied experience.
