摘要
小组口语实践在大学英语课堂较为常见,运用得宜将有助于学生口语水平的提高,然这一教学手段在具体实施过程也会呈现一定的缺陷。分析了大学英语课堂小组口语实践的几个常见缺陷,并从小组的站位设计,小组具体人数控制,小组成员构成原则,小组口语实践与课堂讲解的共存模式以及即兴口语的课堂内语境营造等几个方面探讨了可行的改善策略。
Group oral practice is often utilized in college English classes. It helps to boost students' oral efficiency if applied properly. However,this teaching method also has deficiencies. This paper analyzes severalof these common deficiencies of group oral practice in college English classes, and it also attempts to explore the corresponding practical strategies for improvement from several aspects including the optimum positioningof the members of a practice group, deciding on the number of members in a group, the principles governing the composition of a group, the co-existence mode of group oral practice and regular English lectures, and thecreating of a suitable environment for in-class impromptu oral practice.
