从古至今姓名是人类社会中每个成员的重要标志,姓名虽然只是一个代号,但它的意义远不止此,它能反映出一个民族的文化,因此了解了中西方姓名的差异有助于我们了解不同民族的文化特征。
From ancient times names are important symbols of each member of human society,but their significance is far more than just codes.Names reflect a nation＇s culture.So understanding of the differences between Chinese and Western names facilitates us better understand different ethnic and cultural characteristics.
