称呼语的研究及其进展

A Review of Studies on Address Forms

称呼语的研究不再局限于社会语言学的范围内,而是转向研究称呼所传递的语用信息。新的研究观点拓宽了对称呼语研究的视角,丰富了称呼语研究的内容:语符表征形式同思维方式及心理结构有密切关系;称呼语选择反映说话者对语境的认知和倾向性;思维方式、价值观、文化深层结构制约称呼语的结构和语义。同时,本文还指出对外交往中称呼语研究所处的状态。

The study of address forms has not been confined to the scope of sociolingnistics and probing into pragmatic functions of address forms. The new ideas have extended the perspectives and contents of studying the address forms. The representative forms of symbols are closely connected with thinking styles and mental structures. The choice of address forms reflects the speakers＇ cognition and inclination of the context. The structures and semantics are affected by thinking styles,values and deep cultural structures. The au- thors also points out the current development of address forms for foreigners.
