New Ideas about the Origin of the Chinese Character诗

本文从诗学人类学角度 ,对作为中国文学本源的“诗”进行了考论。在对学术史上各种解说予以澄清的基础上指出 :诗从手从足 ,它的本源是中国文明最古老的食物分配制度 ,并进一步讨论了它从一种社会分配制度转换为一种文学体裁的历史演变环节。中国文化的秘密正在于中国诗学之中。因此本文不仅为中国文学找到了它的历史根源 ,而且对重新认识中国文化也具有重要意义。

This thesis aims at the origin of the Chinese character 诗 from the perspective of poetic study and anthropology. On the basis of many academic researches, this paper concludes that the Chinese character诗 comes from ancient Chinese character 手 and 足. It originates from the Chinese food distribution system which later transferred to literary style. The conclusion is both important in studying Chinese literature and Chinese culture.
