Activate "history" With Modern Thinking——Culture and Modernization of Foshan Famous Town and Lingnan Heaven and Earth Project

本文主要讨论的是如何对具有历史价值的传统城市空间进行合理的旧城改造,再现历史城区的文化价值,实现价值的最大化。文章通过分析佛山名镇及岭南天地项目,总结了在旧城改造过程中,为了再现历史城区的文化价值必须解决的三个核心议题是:一、更新业态,带动城区可持续发展;二、老城环境质量的整体提升,重塑城市空间;三、保护和发扬传统建筑的文化特征。

This article mainly discusses How to carry on the old city reconstruction in the traditional city space with historical value,and recreate maximum cultural value of the historic urban area.By analyzing of FoshanMingZhen and LingnanTianDi project,the author summarizes the three core issues needed to be solved in the old city reconstruction process for the sake of reproducing the cultural value of historical city.Firstly,updating city format to drive the city sustainable development;Secondly,enhancing the environmental quality of the old city,and reshape the city space;thirdly,protecting and developing culture characteristics of traditional architectural.
