The American Constitution and the Federal Supreme Court's constitutional legal precedents have protected religious freedom as one of the basic human rights and specifically defined it in terms of freedom of religion and separation of the church from the state, making religious freedom a constitutional concept deeply - seated in the public mind. Deeply rooted in Christian tradition. America is a country with numerous believers, thus causing freedom of religion and separation of the church from the state to be totally unthorough - going, which is reflected not only in daily life but also in law.
