引领全社会重视艺术教育

Let's Lead Society to Put More Emphasis on Art Education

从一般的层面来谈艺术教育,有两点需要强调。第一,我们要在各种场合进一步宣传艺术教育的重要意义。当前,我们尤其要宣传和阐明,在各级学校和全社会加强美育和艺术教育,全面实施素质教育,是我们学习实践科学发展观的重要内容。要通过人文教育、艺术教育不断提高广大学生的品位和格调,引导学生去追求一种更有意义和更有价值的人生,引导学生不断地提升自己的人生境界。第二,我们要更加重视校园文化环境的建设和整个社会文化环境的建设。我们的大中小学要尽可能地营造浓厚的文化氛围和艺术氛围,大学还要营造浓厚的学术氛围。我们要创造条件使大学生更多地接触艺术经典、文化经典,用文化经典、艺术经典引导青少年去寻求人生的意义,去追求更高的境界。

Two points need to be stressed when discussing art education in general terms：first,we must not let slip a single opportunity to propagate the importance of art education.At present,we must never tire of propagating and clarifying that to strengthen aesthetic and art education in schools of all levels and throughout society and to implement a comprehensive quality education constitutes an important component of our study and practice of the scientific view of development.We must constantly enhance the aesthetic tastes of our college students via liberal education and art education and guide them to pursue a more meaningful and valuable life,a lofty realm of life.Second,we must pay more attention to establishing the campus cultural environment and that of the wider society as well.Our primary and secondary schools and our universities ought to create a lively cultural and artistic ambience（and an academic atmosphere at university level too）.We must create conditions for the students to have access to artistic and cultural masterpieces so that these great works will guide our youth to pursue higher,deeper and loftier goals in life.
