Application of Synthetic Calcium Sulphates in Filled PE Compounds

本文以一种合成硫酸钙(CaSO_4)作为聚乙烯(PE)的填充剂,研究了合成硫酸钙/聚乙烯填充体系的力学性能,流变性能、加工性能和结构形态。结果表明,该填充剂的综合性能优良,与含碳酸钙和滑石粉的体系相比,该填充体系密度低、硬度小、流动性好.合成硫酸钙可广泛用作功能性填充剂。

Using the synthetic calcium sulphate as a filler,the mechanical theologicaland processing properties and morphological structure of Calcium sulphate/PEfilled system have been investigated.The results show that comprehensive pro-perties of this filler is excellent.In comparison with the system with calciumcarbonate or talc,this system is of low density,low hardness,and good flowa-bility.Synthetic calcium sulphate may be considered as a functional filler forwider uses in plastics compounding.
