A STUDY ON OVER-CONSOLIDATION BEHAVIOR OF COHESIVE SOILS IN THE URBAN DISTRICT OF GUILIN

摘要 从桂林市区一些地段的原状结构土、重型土、含不同量可溶盐的土及重塑土静置一段时间后的高压固结试验结果出发,据垂向应力与水平应力的关系曲线,将桂林市一些地段的地基粘性土区分为假超固结土与似超固结土。在超过压密屈服压力时,在土的饱和、溶滤、淋滤作用下,假超固结土可能产生骤增的变形,影响工程建筑的安全使用。 According to the results of consolidation tests of cohesive soils,sampled below the foundations of some building areas of Guilin,including fundisturbed samples, remoulded samples, soi1s mixed withdifferent quantities of soluble salts and remoulded samples at the staticstate for a duration of time and to the test curves between horizontalstress and vertical stress, the author tried to divide tested cohesive soilsof Guilin into pseudo-consolidated soils and quasi-consolidated soils.Pseudo-consolidated soils maybe produce excessive settlement during theapplied pressure which is higher than the yield stress of these soils orthe leaching process. In these cases engineering constructions harmfulnessmay be caused.
