In this paper,the general situation of South Korean public library evaluation is introduced.And the part of South Korean public library evaluation in South Korea Library Assessment Report in 2008 is selectively analyzed.There are detailed analysis about the background and the evaluation indicators of the South Korean public libraries evaluation in this paper.And then summarizes several characteristics about the South Korean public libraries evaluation.It is expected that the paper would give some references to Chinese public library construction and evaluation.
