Breeding of Bimai 15, a New Wheat Variety

毕麦 15是用绵阳 11为母本 ,84 2 - 6 4 4为父本 ,通过有性杂交 ,经连续 8年用系谱法选育 ,于 1992年育成。该品种高产、早熟 ,中抗白粉病、叶锈病和赤霉病 ,高抗条锈病 ,综合性状好 ,适宜间套作 ,1999年经贵州省毕节地区农作物品种审定委员会审定通过 ,并推荐在毕节地区及生态类型相似的周边地区示范推广。

Bimai 15 was bred from crossing Mianyang 11 (female) with 842 644 (male) by means of pedigree method for 8 years in 1992. Bimai 15 has the characters of high yield, early maturity, middle resistant to powdery mildew, leaf rust and scab, high by resistant to yellow rust, better comprehensive agronomic characters and suitable for inter cropping. It has been approved by the Crops Variety Examination Committee of Bijie prefecture in 1999 and popularized in Bijie prefecture and the periphery areas.
