This study aimed to study the attentional bias to threatening stimuli between low and high resilience individ- uals in the threatening and non-threatening conditions. 19 high resilience subjects and 20 low resilience subjects were chosen from 450 university students according to the scores in the scale of Connor-Davidson resilience and divided randomly into two groups, one group was under the threatening conditions and the other was under the non-threatening condition, then a dot-probe task was performed and the attentional bias score was recorded. There was a significant difference on the attentional bias score for high threatening words (F (l,32) =7.252, p〈 0.05) , with high resilience subjects (4.46±13.50) much higher than low resilience subject (-7.48±12.10) . Under non-threatening conditions, high resilience subjects showed attentional vigilance to the low threatening words (ASB=8.21, t (7) =2.485, p〈0.05) , and low resilience subjects showed attentional avoidance to the high threat- ening words (ASB=-10.03, t (7) =-2.437, p〈0.05) .
