摘要
With the company of leaders from SAC and Shanghai Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, Dr. Stampfl- Blaha visited and inspected the Secretariat of ISO/TC 249 （Traditional Chinese medicine） which is situated in Shanghai. In the symposium, Secretary of 1SO/TC 249 Professor Shen Yuandong expressed his warm welcome to Dr. Stampfl- Blaha, and introduced to her the background of traditional Chinese medicines development in the world and the work of the Secretary. He also communicated with her on the important issues in the intemational standardization work of the Secretariat. Dr. Stampfl-Blaha gave full recognition to the achievements of the Secretariat, and hoped it could obtain more accomplishments in the future.
