第二代单元列车及其在我国发展的设想

Unit Train of the Second Generation and Tentative Plan of Its Development in China

本文提出了第一代单元重载列车现存的问题,介绍了加拿大铁路发展第二代单元列车的基本思想、对现有机车车辆改动的技术方案以及产生的效益,指出该方案构思新颖、技术难度不高、对现有机车车辆及各种设备改动不大,在我国实行此方案可使我国单元重载列车跃进到新的层次、获得较高的效益。最后提出了在我国研究第二代单元列车的具体建议。

The paper lists the existing problems with heavy-haul unit trains of the first generation, and sets forth the essential ideas of unit trains of the second generation developed in Canada, as well as the technical scheme for modification of the existing locomotives and cars and benefits generated hereby, pointing out that this scheme is original in conception, easy in technique, and small in change to the existing locomotives, cars, and various equipment. With this scheme practiced in China, it will help promote the heavy-haul unit train operation to a new level, and acquire better benefits. In the end, the paper puts forward some specific suggestions on unit trains of the second generation in China.
